ANDERSON PACKAGING ANNOUNCES 3D MODELING AND
PROTOTYPING CAPABILITIES
7/21/2003
ROCKFORD, Ill. - Anderson Packaging announces the addition
of three-dimensional modeling capabilities to its existing
prototyping and design portfolio. To further supplement its
extensive in-house sample creation capability, Anderson now
offers conceptual renderings utilizing SolidWorks software.
This technology can be applied to blisters, pouches, bottles,
and blister cards as well as cartons and tertiary packages.
This
new capability will afford Anderson Packaging's customers
a new tool to expedite the package development
process and
speed their product to market. Customers will be able to view
the look and characteristics of finished packages at the time
of conceptualization, providing them same day results. In addition,
Anderson provides full prototyping capabilities to facilitate
hands-on evaluation for its customers marketing and package
development efforts. These samples are provided with full graphics
layouts and can accommodate specialized designs for child resistance,
senior friendliness, and patient compliance. According to Shawn
Reilley, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, "The addition
of SolidWorks to our package development program will give
our customers a tremendous asset in bringing products to market
in the shortest amount of time. It further underscores our
commitment to keeping our customers on the forefront of innovation
in the pharmaceutical industry."
