Anderson Packaging's Chuck Aubrey Awarded Harrington-Ishikawa Medal

Rockford, IL, November 20, 2006 - Chuck Aubrey, Vice President of Process Management and Lean Six Sigma for Anderson Packaging, Inc., was awarded the prestigious Harrington-Ishikawa Medal at the 12th Annual Asia Pacific Quality Organization Conference held October 17th - 20th in Sydney, Australia. This award was presented to Chuck in recognition of his "contribution to the development of quality in the economies of countries in Asia and the Pacific Rim through writing, teaching, and consulting." Chuck was also a keynote speaker at the event. His presentation, "Packaging Lean and Six Sigma Together for Powerful Results," highlights how both Anderson Packaging, Inc. and its customers have benefited from a successful Lean Six Sigma program. According to Tom Clark, Anderson's Director of Quality Control, Chuck's receipt of the Harrington-Ishikawa Medal is further "evidence of the strength of the resources Anderson Packaging is now able to offer its customers in the areas of Quality Planning and Continuous Improvement." In addition, Chuck Aubrey states that he's excited to be a part of the effort within Anderson to bring "improved flexibility, increased capacity, enhanced compliance, and improved customer service and satisfaction" to Anderson's customers.

Chuck will also be speaking at the upcoming 8th Annual Six Sigma Summit January 22nd - 25th in Miami, FL alongside a renowned group of speakers, including keynote speaker General Colin Powell, USA (Ret.).
